We are a young-ish couple that decided to break free from the conventional thinking of what life should be to live a more adventurous and fulfilling life on the road. We are currently traveling the U.S. in our customized 4x4 diesel van and a 30' Airstream travel trailer. 11-4-20 I was diagnosed with stomach cancer 1-19-21 I had my stomach removed. 6 months later my 8yr relationship was over. I signed a 6 month lease in an apartment and was miserable and depressed. I made it 5 months and said see ya, bought a 99' Astrovan and started living in it. 6 months later I had got laid off from the union in Seattle where I was born and raised. My mom said you should go to Quartzsite,Arizona and hangout with Bob Wells and a million other Vanlifers. I said I will send you a picture when I get there. 2 days later that's exactly what I did.
