Campgrounds is close to town so very convenient to get supplies. Does have trash here but need to go to La Posa South for dump and water. Fills up fast the month of Jan. But still nice walking, hiking, ATV and bike riding. We are enjoying our time here and meeting new folks. Great sunrises and sunsets!🐪     La Posa LVA is broken up into 4 sections. North, South, East, and West. The campgrounds are huge. We didn't have too much trouble finding a level spot. Close to town. Great for quads. We stayed at La Posa west. There are four large dumpsters on site. Potable water, dump site, and additional dumpsters are located at La Posa South, just down the road. Two week stay is $40.00, September to April $180.00. All campers must be self contained.

This is a remarkable place to camp for any size or any type of vehicle. you can camp in a group or camp all by yourself it depends what you are looking for. Camping here is 14 days so you need to get a permit from the camp host. That's only during the winter season when the area comes alive with people in RVs and tents coming to Quartzsite by the thousands. Lots to do in the area in many Rock and jem shops, swap meets and all kinds of things to do. Lots fast food and lots of places to eat. if you're going to spend time here it is best to get supplies in Parker, Arizona at the Walmart. There are literally only Family Dollar stores and a small market to purchase food. The local market is very expensive. you can also drive to Blythe California for supplies and shop either at Albertsons or Smart and Final. There are many spots to camp around town and also long-term camping.    🐪 This location is my favorite and I think it is the best. A good Verizon signal and no television signal whatsoever🐪    This is a great location to enjoy the desert view... sunsets are wonderful. Depending on how far you drive in, the ground will be a bit different. From pebbles/sand to very sharp stones that fit in your hand but make for sore paws if you have a dog. The blacktop road leading to the entrance is in terrible condition, go slow    🐪It was nice and quiet, people are a nice distance away.     🐪Quick drive into town for fresh water, dump your tank, get over priced McDonalds and there's a nice butcher in town too. I enjoyed my stay.

Lots of space out there for everyone and it's free! So long as you register with Doug.🐪     At this time of year (late March), nice weather, no crowds, and very quiet. Very flat, with easy access roads. Nice Mountain views and desert all around. And Verizon cell service too!🐪     Very nice place! We only stayed for 1 night but it was beautiful. Pretty empty. Lots of fire pits. Awesome sunset!

This is an absolutely fabulous location to camp when you are in the area. The amenities are fantastic and the majority of folks camping here are quite friendly. I was amazed at the amount of help. I was given setting up my camp and taking care of my trash. Somebody came by every day to pick up trash, which was really nice. We were able to get free wire and firewood for the campfire in town at the woods shop.    🐪 Heading out tomorrow. Loved it here! However, Plomosa Road is beginning to fill up as mid January treks along.    🐪 The camp host was fantastic and very informative upon arrival. This is my first time dry camping for more than 10 days. Lots of land to spread out for FREE! I will return soon.    🐪 1st time camping here in the BLM. We are enjoying it very much. Everyone in town is very nice and did not mind showing us the ropes.

This is a large BLM campground for dry camping only with a camp host that up you have to register with. It is free with a 14 day stay limit. There are no amenities so you have to pack in and out. Small fire pits are scattered around and finding a spot was easy. I stayed near the highway because I don't mind the noise and was leaving the next day. This was otherwise a very quiet campground during my stay. Pretty clean too. I would come back again and felt very safe as a solo traveler.    🐪 Ok place to stop for a night. I would think this is nicer in the winter months, but in May it was pretty hot.    🐪 I’ve stayed here several times and I’ll do it again. 3 miles north of town. Neighbors further away than in any RV Park. Good Verizon coverage due to a cell tower just across the highway    🐪 Great place to stop for one to 14 days. We needed a place with a level spot and privacy for a night. Here at busiest time but plenty of spots not to far off highway 95. Everyone keeps to themselves and no problems here.

If you like boondocking, this place might be good for you. It's wide open desert so pick your spot and camp away. No fees, totally free but there is a BLM host you register with for an up to 2 week permit. Sometimes the BLM host is off duty and you just go set up and then go back. When you go to register if you're pulling a trailer, they need truck and trailer license plate number so make sure if you're already set up you remember the trailer license number. One drawback here is it's along I-10 so there can be some traffic noise, but it's quite a ways away so it's not that bad, but some might object. On the good side, with even just 2 bars on Verizon, data is mostly reliable. Some areas nearby like Cholla Rd. Are sheilded from good data. We camp here annually and enjoy a great campout with our friends.    🐪 Great experience .spent 7 days dry camping in Las Vegas and froze.came here on our way to Wickenburg and spent the night at dome rock..warm and very scenic up against the rock    🐪 Great free 14 day camping. Should get a permit from camp host. Picturesque mountains nearby to hike and photograph.    🐪 Quintessential Arizona. The stars are brighter here than most places in the USA. Whether you're a traveler or a local, Quartzsite is a type of beauty that has to be seen to believed.

Always love this area. Lots of old mines everywhere if you look for them. Lots water if you like to hike don't leave home without it. Boondockers like it here. Quiet and serene. Check it out. I did haven't left since    🐪 Lots of places to park on the North or South side of interstate 10 good place to go quiet you're about I'll guess about nine miles on the outskirts of quartzsite. I prefer the Southside little bit better.    🐪 Love this place. Free camping not a ton of people great Verizon coverage.    🐪 Stop to fix my cooler. Surprise to see people camping so close to the freeway.    🐪 We love it out by ourselves.    🐪 Needed a quiet place to get some shut-eye. A few people around, but nothing crazy or rowdy.    🐪 It's right next to the freeway     Love the BLM!!!
