Our Mission

Hi, my name is Chris. My brothers and I landed in Quartzsite Arizona in the fall of 2013. We had no idea what to expect, as we had never been here before let alone smack dab in the middle of a desert.We had left upstate New York after losing my job and my house, we loaded up my brothers little sports car and headed west, not much money and clueless.

Arriving in quartzsite after watching a Youtube video about Vanlife by Bob Wells, we quickly realized we didn't know anything about the desert or the town and asked for help from the vanlife forum, we were directed where to get water and where to camp and have been figuring out where to and how to's ever since. Having acumulated 10 years of Quartzsite knowledge, I decided to build a website dedicated to answering the question " How the hell does this town operate?"

My humble little mission statement, is to provide the easiest and most knowledgeable guide to the little, big town of quartzsite

We will strive to convey the most accurate, easiest to understand directions and descriptions of places, events and activities in quartzsite and in rare instances the towns surrounding it, mixing in a little history and fun facts as we go.
